How We Met
Nathaniel and Christina met in 1999 at the University of Central Florida.
It wasn't until 2003, however, that they became more than friends.
What started out as a "friendly date" at Bennigan's soon grew into years
of happiness together.
The Proposal

Nathaniel tried to surprise Christina with a trip to their
favorite bed and breakfast, the
Bayfront Marin House,
in St. Augustine, Florida. He even reserved the same room that they'd
stayed in over Valentine's Day weekend just two years prior,
The Francisco Marin Room,
and had an arrangement of a dozen roses waiting.
Christina, being overly-curious, found out about many of her upcoming surprises.
But, while she was content in believing that she'd figured it all out, she had
no idea of what was to come. On the night of April 7th, following a wonderful day around town and
dinner at Columbia Restaurant,
he sat her down on a secluded, white bench and asked her to marry him.
She, of course, accepted his proposal.

The House
We bought our first home together! We closed on it in October of 2007. It's
a three bedroom, two bath, mediterranean-style home in Winter Springs,
Florida. And, while this offset our wedding plans a bit, it certainly didn't
stop us.
